Coconut oil – provides a unique combination of cleansing, firming and skin-conditioning properties. This oil is greatly moisturizing and supports the protective moisture barrier of the skin.
Sweet almond oil – forms a rich conditioning lather when used in soapmaking. This oil is high in Vitamins E, A and D as well as Oleic and Linoleic fatty acids. Thanks to its emollient properties, it makes skin soft and supple. It also attracts moisture to the skin and prevents it from drying out.
Olive oil – very suitable for dry skin due to its intensely moisturizing and nourishing properties. It is rich in antioxidants (Vitamin E and polyphenols) which are renowned for their ability to protect skin against environmental and free radical damage.
Tea tree essential oil – this oil is vastly famous for its powerful natural properties. One of its constituents terpinen-4-ol – is considered to be active against bacteria, viruses and fungi. Tea tree oil also might possess antiseptic properties which may be beneficial for facilitating faster healing of minor scrapes or cuts.
Eucalyptus essential oil – it enhances soap’s cleansing properties as it is known to have the ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria.
Grapefruit essential oil – besides for its fresh invigorating scent, this oil is also known for its antioxidant and antimicrobial activity.
Cedarwood essential oil – a skin-friendly oil, that is appropriate sensitive types of skin. It is considered to help soothe skin.
