DESCRIPTION

German Chamomile essential oil is steam-distilled from the delicate flowers of the Matricaria recutita plant. This striking inky blue-green oil has a sweet, herbaceous aroma with slightly bitter undertones.

Highly regarded for its potent anti-inflammatory properties, German Chamomile oil is especially beneficial for sensitive or reactive skin. It helps soothe conditions such as eczema, rashes, allergies, and other forms of skin irritation.

In aromatherapy, it promotes emotional balance and a sense of calm, easing feelings of anxiety, fear, or irritability. When used in massage, it may help relieve muscle and joint discomfort, including symptoms related to arthritis. It is also traditionally used to help soothe upset stomach, nausea, and colic.
